Simply NUC, Inc. announced Intel’s latest mini PC this week in the form of the Intel Rugged NUC Pro, also known as the Arena Canyon Porcoolpine. Built for durability and stability, the Arena Canyon Porcoolpine is the fanless alternative to the wider Arena Canyon family.

It harnesses the power of 13th Generation Intel processors, thus facilitating exceptional performance within a compact form factor. Remarkably, the absence of moving parts in the robust fanless body of this product confirms its suitability for rugged use and ensures the reliability of the device.

In terms of models and pricing, Simply NUC has made three distinct versions of the NUC available for pre-order Arena Canyon Porculpin. These options meet varying price points, Starting at base price of $779. Powered by the Intel Core i7-1360P processor, the NUC13ANFi7 is designed for users looking for superior performance. The NUC13ANi5 and NUC13ANFi3 offer more cost-effective alternatives, integrating the Intel Core i5-1340P and Intel Core i3-1315U processors, respectively.

Arena Canyon Porcoolpine offers an impressive array of I/O options. It’s equipped with dual HDMI 2.1 ports, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and four USB-A ports. User adaptability is enhanced by the provision of a rear expansion panel. The unit also features an integrated 2.5Gb LAN port, which can be supplemented with an additional 2.5Gb through the rear expansion board.
