Leaked Galaxy Unpacked poster shows… a 4th phone?

We’re THIS close to Samsung’s next Unpacked event, and we pretty much know what to expect. The company will announce the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. We’re looking forward to three devices, But why does this leaked Unpacked poster show four devices?

Samsung set its next Unpacked event to take place in January, and we’re all excited to see what the company has to offer. Rumors point to it happening on January 22nd, so we only have just over a month to wait. Mark your calendars!

Leaked Galaxy Unpacked poster shows a fourth device

Since we’re so close to the next Unpacked event, you should count on leaks to hit their height. In a pretty big leak, we got a poster advertising the next Galaxy Unpacked event, and it confirms the date of January 22nd. The poster comes from notable leaker Evan Blass. Be that as it may, you’ll still want to take this news with a grain of salt since we’re still dealing with leaked information.

Looking at the poster, we see the corners of the to-be-announced devices on the left side of the screen. They’ve been obscured just enough to give us a glimpse of the devices. We see a bit of the camera package of the top device, and that’s the only camera we can see.

As for which model is which, that’s tough to say. Looking at the corner radius, we can guess that the one on the left is the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It has the sharpest corner of the bunch.

Next, there’s something to note about the phones’ frames. One thing that differentiated the Galaxy S24 series from the Galaxy S23 series was the fact that the former brought a flatter frame. The Galaxy S23 phones had rather rounded frames, which remind us of the Pixel 8 series. Well, looking at the poster, these frames seem to be pretty rounded just like the Galaxy S23 phones. This is more evident with the top and right devices.

Four phones?

Okay, let’s talk about the elephant in the room; there are four phones on the poster. This threw us for a loop, as we expected to be graced by three phones. It’s tough to tell what the fourth phone will be. Rumors suggested that Samsung will launch a Galaxy S25 slim version, but reports point to that phone launching sometime in the spring. Announcing it in January doesn’t seem sensible.

While unlikely, Samsung might give us an early sneak peek of this phone. It wouldn’t be any other handset. The Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy A55 already hit the market and we shouldn’t count on any foldable devices. So, this could be our first look at Samsung’s slim handset.

The subtle hint

There’s one other potential detail about this leaked image. Looking at the space between the phones, we see what looks like a sparkle shape. This is the same sparkle shape we see with AI products.

It looks like Samsung could be making a subtle nod to Galaxy AI. The company made a big fuss about AI this year, and we expect this next Unpacked event to be chock-full of AI announcements. This potential nod might show us that Samsung has some new AI goodies in store for us.
