OnePlus appears to be aggressively pushing the Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update. The OnePlus 12 was the company’s first Android smartphone to get the OxygenOS 15 update in early November. Since then, the company has rolled out the stable OxygenOS 15 update to many of its devices, including the original OnePlus Pad. Now, OnePlus is reportedly rolling out the Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update to the OnePlus 11.

The Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update is now live for the OnePlus 11 users in India

The 3.59GB build is currently live in India. If you’re not seeing this update yet, don’t worry. It should pop up on your OnePlus 11 soon. Do note that this is not the stable release, it’s the first Release Candidate (RC).

OnePlus might push another RC or expand the rollout to more regions and devices in the coming weeks based on user feedback. So, if you reside outside of India, you must wait for now. Those with the OnePlus 11 in India can enjoy a bunch of new features after the OxygenOS 15 update. For starters, the popular Circle to Search feature will be available post-update.

The OxygenOS 15 update also brings ultra animation and luminous rendering effects. You’ll also find a few Always-On Display (AOD) customization options to play around with. There are a few dedicated privacy protection features coming with the latest Android update too. Apart from these and a few others, many AI features are making their way to the OnePlus 11.

The new AI features take center stage

The top AI features brought in by the Android 15 update are the AI Notes, AI Retouch, and the AI Reflection Eraser. As the name suggests the AI Notes feature helps you enhance your writeups. It includes a Format feature that organizes scattered information to make your writeups more appealing and easily readable.

Whereas the AI Retouch and AI Reflection Eraser are features that are meant more for photo enhancement. These are just a few examples of what’s coming to the OnePlus 11 with the Android 15 update, there’re a lot more.
