A robot vacuum is the perfect gift for virtually anyone on your list. And whoever gets one will love you forever. A robot vacuum means less work and a cleaner home. But robot vacuums can really get up there in price, so we are here to help you pick out the perfect option. Here are the best Robot Vacuums you can buy.
Best Robot Vacuums
These are the two best robot vacuums, with the price being no object. Basically, it’s the best that money can buy right now. Of course, if you want something a bit cheaper, we’ve got a few options further down that are much more affordable and still great robot vacuums to pick up.
iRobot Roomba Combo 10 Max
The iRobot Roomba Combo 10 Max is a brand new robot vacuum from iRobot and it’s actually their most expensive yet, at $1,399. It’s expensive, but worth the price. Lately, iRobot has been adding more robot vacuums that can also do mopping, and now the Roomba Combo 10 Max takes a step further by adding AutoWash to the Dock. So not only will it empty the dustbin when it’s finished, it will also wash the mop and refill the water reservoir for you. Making it easier for you to have automated cleaning in your home.
iRobot calls this their “most powerful cleaning robot yet” because they have doubled the suction on the Roomba Combo 10 Max. Allowing it to pick up more dirt and debris and also scrub your floors more with the mop.
With the Roomba Combo 10 Max, the mop is actually lifted up and onto the top of the robot vacuum so your carpets won’t get wet and nasty from the robot vacuum. Which is actually a really genius way to do it.
It’s an expensive robot vacuum, but it’s definitely worth the price.
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock’s S8 Pro Ultra is also priced at $1,399, and it does just about everything you could want a robot vacuum to do. This is actually the robot vacuum that I use in my home, and I absolutely love it.
For $1,399, you’re getting a robot vacuum that is able to empty the dustbin, clean the mop, and refill the water reservoir when it is docked. It also boasts 6,000Pa of suction power. Which is almost as strong as most stick vacuums.
Roborock is also using its dual rubber brushes on the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra. These brushes are really good because they are able to get closer to the carpet and can get up more dirt and debris. It is also less likely to get tangled with hair. In fact, the brushes have rarely ever gotten tangled in the year that I’ve been using it myself.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is definitely one of the best robot vacuums you can buy.
Best Robot Vacuums under $700
These are some incredible robot vacuums, that cost a tad bit less than the best robot vacuums.
NARWAL Freo Robot Vacuum
The NARWAL Freo is a pretty incredible robot vacuum and it is just $699. Which effectively makes it about half the price of the robot vacuums listed above. It’s a stunning vacuum actually, with the base come in white, with a small display up-top to show you when its charging or any other issues it might have.
NARWAL has quietly been making a name for itself in the past few years, by offering some strong robot vacuums that also mop, and can sense how dirty a floor is, and can adjust its cleaning pattern to clean the floors.
It’s not the strongest robot vacuum out there, of course this one is also about half the price as the others we’ve listed here. But it does have 3,000Pa of suction power, and about 12N of downward pressure for scrubbing the floors while mopping. The Freo is also able to lift up the mop when it senses carpet, to keep the mop from getting the carpet all wet. And finally, it has a pretty large 500ml Dust Bin, so it can keep cleaning without having to go to the dock and empty itself.
Roborock Q5 Max+
Looking for an even cheaper option? The Roborock Q5 Max+ is a really good option as a gift. The Roborock Q5 Max+ is priced at $449, and it’s an absolute steal at that price.
This robot vacuum is quite powerful, with 5500Pa suction power, and it also has the auto-empty dock. Allowing the vacuum to dock and then empty its dustbin. However, the one thing that it is missing is, the ability to mop. It’s still a good option for those that have mostly carpet floors in their home, where mopping wouldn’t be used all that much. And at this price, you’re usually going to miss out on something, especially considering how powerful this vacuum is.
Roborock is still using its duoroller brush design here, which allows the brushes to get closer to the carpet to pick up everything, and keep the rollers from getting tangled in hair. It also uses LiDAR to map out your home and make sure that it doesn’t miss a spot.
Best Robot Vacuums under $300
Typically, when we start looking at robot vacuums that are under $300, you won’t see auto-empty docks available. Instead, one of these comes with a charging dock, and that’s it. It does still make for a great option for those living in a dorm room, or a small apartment, where it’s easy to empty the dustbin yourself.
Shark AV2501S AI Ultra Robot Vacuum
Yep, there’s AI in this robot vacuum. Shark is using AI in this $269 robot vacuum as a way to see where there’s more of a mess or the floors are dirtier, so it can adapt its cleaning routine to make sure that the floors are nice and clean.
Surprisingly, this robot vacuum does come with an auto-empty dustbin. It’s fairly small, mostly because it is bagless. Which makes it easier to empty. It also has a HEPA filter that traps 99.9% of germs and allergens. So those with bad allergies will love this robot vacuum.
Shark is using precision floor mapping with this robot vacuum. Which also allows it to identify and avoid objects. Whether that’s toys, shoes, cords, or even pet waste, it can identify objects that are 4.5 inches or larger.
iRobot Roomba Vac
Finally, rounding out our list of robot vacuums is the iRobot Roomba Vac, which is one of the cheapest robot vacuums on the market. It’s priced at $249, but it can usually be found for under $200. That’s not very popular for robot vacuums these days.
The iRobot Roomba Vac is a basic robot vacuum, and that’s perfectly fine at this price. It does include iRobot’s 3-stage cleaning system, which has three levels of powerful suction for a custom clean on carpets and hard floors. It also has smart navigation on-board, so it can methodically clean your home with ease.
This robot vacuum does not have an auto-empty base, instead the base only charges the vacuum. But at this price, you kind of expect that. iRobot does make it pretty easy to empty the dustbin yourself, however.
Despite its price, the iRobot Roomba Vac does still have app support with the iRobot Home app. Allowing you to control the vacuum from your phone, as well as using your voice with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. It also can recharge itself in as little as 2 hours, so it can continue cleaning. So it can get back to finishing the job in no time.
