OPPO is all set to launch its next-gen Find series flagship smartphone called the Find X8 on October 24. The company officially announced this launch date for China a few hours ago. Now, the OPPO Find X8’s live images and specifications have leaked ahead of the launch later this month.
OPPO Find X8’s live images show the phone’s front and camera module
The leaked live images of the OPPO Find X8 are rather grainy. However, they do show the phone’s display, right side, and the rear camera module. It appears that OPPO has borrowed some design elements from the Apple iPhones for the Find X8. The device’s selfie camera is placed in a punch-hole above the flat screen.
Furthermore, the Find X8’s live images also show a rounded flat frame. Interestingly, the handset appears to flaunt an alert slider and a customizable virtual pressure-sensitive button. At the bottom, the device has a Type-C charging port and speaker grilles.
Notably, the Find X8 will have a round camera island at the rear with at least three lenses. The LED flash unit of the phone seems to be placed outside the camera island towards the top-right corner.
Find X8’s complete specs also leaked
OPPO has already officially confirmed that the Find X8 will be powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400 SoC. The leaked specs sheet also confirms the presence of this chipset. Furthermore, the phone will flaunt a 6.5-inch BOE display with ultra-narrow bezels and 1.5K resolution. The handset will also include an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, suggests the latest leak.
Moving on to the other specs, the leak suggests that the Find X8 will have a triple camera module at the rear. The device will offer an LYT-600 50MP periscope telephoto main camera. Notably, the handset is said to be fuelled by a 5,700mAh battery. The power cell will support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Furthermore, the new leak suggests the phone will boot Android 15-based ColorOS15, and will have IP68 or 69 certification. It will offer a glass back, a 7mm waistline, and 190g of weight. The flagship will be offered in four different hues – Black, Blue, Pink, and White.
OPPO hasn’t yet officially confirmed how many variants of the Find X8 will be launched. However, if the reports are to be believed, the company will launch the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro variants. We will find out more in a matter of weeks, so stay tuned.
