Glendale police received more than $100,000 in cash from two people who allegedly smoked in a car in plain view last weekend, authorities announced in the second gallery.
The incident was discovered on the night of Oct. 4, when police from the Glendale Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of West Broadway, between San Fernando Road and South Pacific Avenue, on reports of a man and woman using drugs inside the room. A search of the vehicle revealed $120,000 in U.S. currency, stolen tools, drugs, stolen electronics and evidence of identity theft, police said.
Both were arrested and taken to prison.
