A person suspected of criminal arson and assault with a deadly weapon is currently holed up in a Palmdale residence, according to the Los Angeles Department of Defense.
Authorities from the xerife division's Special Enforcement Division (SEB) respond to assist the Palmdale station at 38000 17th Street East.
This barrier began around 4:48 pm on Sunday, and since then people have been evacuated from Vizinha homes to ensure the safety of residents.
Authorities announced that SEB personnel would take tactical command while the Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) attempted to contact them on suspicion.
LASD states no additional information is available at this time.
