No Way! Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra is $100 off ahead of October Prime Day

Posted on

While Prime Day is set to start next week, that’s not keeping Samsung from discounting some of its most popular products ahead of time. Including the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which can be yours for only $548.49. That’s a $100 savings off of the original price, and it does bring it down to an all-time lowest price – so low in fact, that CamelCamelCamel doesn’t even have that price listed yet.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is the company’s most rugged smartwatch to date, and offers some really great features. Of course, it has the usual fitness stuff you’d expect, like Heart Rate Tracking, Sleep Monitor, step tracking, etc., it even offers an Energy Score and Wellness Tips thanks to Galaxy AI. Samsung has included a new Quick Button this year, which is customizable. Though most will use it to start a workout, it can also be used for a number of other things.

Samsung is also touting the long-lasting battery on this smartwatch – it’s around 100 hours. In our testing, we found that to be pretty accurate. However, keep in mind that battery life does have a ton of variables, including how you use your watch, how much you use it, and what you use it for. But in general, it was able to last about 3-4 days on a charge for us.

With the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung opted to use Titanium and keep the Sapphire Crystal display, both of which help to make this a super durable watch. That’s great for those that like to go on hikes, and do more outdoorsy things. This watch is available in gray, silver and white, and is powered by Wear OS 5. It does only come in one size, which is 47mm, still smaller than the Apple Watch Ultra.

Buy at Amazon

  • We recommend buying if: you’re looking for a smartwatch with multi-day battery and can withstand a beating.
  • We don’t recommend buying if: you don’t need some of the advanced metrics that the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers. The Galaxy Watch 7 would be a good option, which is also on sale right now.
