Google is expanding Gmail CV cardsIA-based contextual sections of services extracted for things like received packages. From now on, the carts will include Purchases, Events, Accounts, and Travel. In addition, a new section titled “Acontecendo” will soon be available at the top of your inbox, displaying the following urgent messages. The company says it's making changes because “email habits will continue to evolve.”
The new Acontecendo department will soon be delivering “just-in-time” resume cards to the top of your inbox. For example, when you open Gmail, you'll see a message stating that the order you placed last week is available for delivery today. Google claims that all of its summary cards are dynamic and updated in real time.
When appropriate, summary cards will also include status buttons. Or Google reveals or resorts to two buttons like “Find buried links”.
Purchase summary cards allow you to track packages, view order details, and monitor orders online. Event cards will allow you to see upcoming events, invite friends, or get instructions for visiting a venue. The summary of accounts will allow you to harass or pay (or specify payment letters for them) Google Tasks). Finally, Travel Summary Cards allow you to manage reservations, check-ins, and view details like hotel check-in and check-out times.
Google's release timeline for new resources is a bit complicated. Purchase Summary Cards for individual emails are “gradually” rolling out starting this week (some users have already reported they were seen at the beginning of this week) on Android and iOS. Cards for other categories of individual emails in the What's Happening section of the “Next few months” brief. The four categories of cards displayed everywhere (individual emails, Gmail searches, and events for short) are now “futureless.” Therefore, you'll need to wait before trying the full Google Summary Card experience.
