Nobels’ ODR series is a true modern classic when it comes to overdrives. With the new Nobels ODR-1X and the ODR-Mini, the manufacturer of the so-called Nashville pedal responds to community feedback. And then some.

Noble’s ODR-1X

At first glance, the Nobels ODR-1X looks almost identical to its predecessor. If you look closer, however, you’ll see two new small mini-controls in the top row. Most importantly, the overdrive now gets a control to cut or dampen bass frequencies. Which can significantly improve your tone, when it comes to dialing in your sound.

The ODR-1X also gets a new remote in. Through this, you can sendb and activate the gain boost. That way, you can use the Nobels ODR-1X as a dedicated boost. The third new feature lets you switch between buffered and true bypass functionality.

Nobels ODR Mini 2 – Now with Bass Cut

It seems like the Nobles community very adamantly asked for bass-cut functionality for the beloved overdrives. Because you also get a dedicated bass cut control on the tiny, pedal board-friendly version of the Nashville pedal.

Nobels also says that they have upgraded the mini’s metal enclosure, but it’s tough to tell what exactly has changed. They’ve probably made it more robust.
