Trump hit his 999th series against Milkman, but failed to do much in a 4-2 win over Day, but he says he's happy to save his 1,000th for a bigger match.
“I don’t even think when I’m here,” he said of getting to the frame. “Em nenhum had two really great chances, where the balls ran really hard. There was something weird here and there that meant the game couldn’t really flow. You really had no chance.”
“I'm not oblivious to this, I'd rather try to save it for later in the tournament.”
The most surprising name in the third round was Ukrainian heartthrob Julian Boyko, after the 19-year-old beat world number 13 Si Jiahui 4-1 in the third round.
“He had the biggest win not on the tour because he really supported me,” said Boyko. “I'm very happy with the result. I've been playing in some tournaments recently, so I feel confident.
My schedule is full because I can play amateur and pro events. But I prefer the pro tour because the atmosphere and locations are perfect, and I have a drink or play a better game.
