On the third day, HP unveiled its first AI-powered 2-in-1 PC, the 14-inch OmniBook Ultra Flip. The device features a 3K OLED display, touchpad, and Intel 200V Core Ultra Series Processors With a custom AI mechanism. Starting at the end of November, your PC will receive Microsoft Co-Pilot + Resources As an update.
The 14-inch OmniBook Ultra Flip features a 2880 x 1800 touch-sensitive OLED display with a maximum variable refresh rate of 120Hz, a 90 percent texture-to-body ratio, or a computer that's just 0.59 inches (15 mm) thick and weighs 2.97 pounds (1.35 kg).
The 14-inch OmniBook Ultra Flip comes with 512GB of storage, with 1TB and 2TB options also available. 16GB of RAM is standard, but the more expensive tiers will bump it up to 32GB. The 2-in-1 has up to 20 hours of battery life and can be quickly charged to about 50 percent in 45 minutes using a 65W USB-C adapter. Your Intel AI processor can be configured with anything from the Ultra 5 226V to the Ultra 9 288V.
The device includes a 9MP camera with hardware-level low-light settings and an Auto HDR switch, which determines when HDR is needed (based on lighting conditions) and quickly switches. The built-in AI resources used by the Intel chip’s NPU include support for hand gestures to scroll through documents or web pages, adjust volume levels, and control media playback. The computer can also be automatically locked when you exit and remembered when you return.
