“Ginny & Georgia” has added Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna to the cast for season three. Doran and Lamanna will join the cast of the current Netflix drama series as recurring characters. The series stars Brianne Hui and Antonia Gentry as mother-and-child duo Ginny and Georgia.
Doran, who is most likely to star in “The Manifesto,” will play Wolf, a troubled face in Jenny’s poetry class who doesn’t particularly like poetry. Lamanna, who can be seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Beacon 23, joins the cast as Tris, a friend of Marcus (Felix Mallard) and Silver, who is described as a “super-smart” skateboarder who also serves as a peer tutor.
News is currently rolling as Ginny & Georgia wraps up production on its third season, so more details will be released later.
In addition to Howie, Gentry and Mallard, “Ginny & Georgia” features a cast that includes Sarah Weisglass (Max), Diesel La Torraca (Austin), Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Scott Porter (Paul), Raymond Ablak (Joe), Katie Douglas (Abby), Chelsea Clarke (Nora), Nathan Mitchell (Zion) and others.
The second season of “Ginny & Georgia” premiered on January 5, 2023 and recorded 56 million views in its fifth week. The second-year version spent nearly two months on the global streamers’ top 10 list, reaching 88 countries.
Sarah Lambert created “Ginny & Georgia” which was Renewed For seasons three and four of the streamer in May 2023. While Debra J. Fisher oversees the first two seasons of the show, “Degrassi” producer Sarah Gilinsky is set to take over the networks as showrunner for seasons three and four. Lambert and Gilinsky also serve as executive producers on the series, along with Jeff Tahler and Jenny Daly of Critical Content, Holly Haynes and Danielle Marsh of Dynamic Television, and Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron and Armand Liu of Blue Ice Pictures. Elena Blechter serves as co-executive producer.
