The Vivo X200 series launch date has been announced

What we do not know at this point is what time exactly will the event kick off. We do know it will occur in Beijing, though. Vivo did share a poster for the event, which you can see below. It is not exactly all that revealing, but there you go.

So, it seems like recent rumors were spot on regarding the timing of the launch event. Vivo still did not confirm which devices are coming exactly, but the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro are expected.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected to fuel at least the Vivo X200 Pro. The regular model could end up including a MediaTek processor instead, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The base model will include a considerably smaller display

The regular model is rumored to include a 6.3-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The ‘Pro’ variant is said to feature a curved AMOLED display, that panel will be considerably larger in comparison.

The Vivo X200 is tipped to include a 50-megapixel main camera, a periscope telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera. The Vivo X200 Pro is rumored to sport a 50-megapixel main camera with a large aperture, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.

A 5,500mAh battery could be included in the Vivo X200. The ‘Pro’ model is tipped to include a 6,000mAh battery on the inside. Both devices will be water and dust-resistant, and both will support really fast wired and wireless charging. Android will come pre-installed with Vivo’s skin for China, OriginOS. In global markets, Funtouch OS will come pre-installed.
