The upcoming OPPO Find X8 flagships are planning to borrow a feature from the iPhone 16 family. We’re talking about the ‘Capture Button’ that will be included on the upcoming models from Apple.
The OPPO Find X8 flagships are said to borrow a feature from the iPhone 16 family
In the case of the OPPO Find X8 family, that button will be called the ‘Quick Button’. It will be located on the right side of the phone, at the very bottom. It’s basically a shutter key that will likely be multifunctional.
You can see it in the actual image below. The device shown there is either the OPPO Find X8 or the OPPO Find X8 Ultra. The image and information come from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, so it’s almost certainly legit.
We already knew this, but OPPO is getting ready to change up the design of its flagships. They will be less curvy than previous models. OPPO will include flat sides, that curve towards the edges, similar to the iPhone 15 and 16 series, and Google’s new Pixel 9 smartphones.
You can also see that the power/lock and volume rocker buttons will be located on the right-hand side. OPPO will seemingly stick to a large camera module on the back, which is also visible from the image above.
The camera module on the back could be changed too, in addition to the design overall
Based on a leak of the OPPO Find X8 that we’ve seen recently, that camera module on the back won’t be a perfect circle. Do note that the one on the OPPO Find X8 Ultra could be, though. There’s a possibility OPPO will use two different ones.
In fact, the camera module shown in the image above does look to be circular. We cannot know for sure, but it does seem that way. The frame on the phone will be made out of metal. We’re still not sure about the backplate, but OPPO used glass, ceramic and vegan leather in the past.
The OPPO Find X8 series could launch sooner this year. The devices are rumored to launch as early as October.
