After a lengthy, risky endurance process leading up to the start of the 2024 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys were able to secure wide receiver CeeDee Lamb with the lucrative, long-term contract extension he wanted.
Not only are the Cowboys able to remove the distraction of this resolved contract situation, but they are also able to avoid backlash from their passionate employee base, which is willing to cause problems in the front office if it damages the relationship between the NFL's best wide receiver.
While there was a sigh of relief when owner Jerry Jones was able to stop the bleeding with a new agreement, Lamb appears to be in a precarious position now that his future is secured with a deal that is supposed to be worth $136 million over four years.
The Cowboys release a non-X video showing Lamb promising big things with the upcoming 2024 NFL season.
“I'm happy to be back,” said Lamb. “I can't wait to see you at home, away, anywhere. I know we travel well. Enlouqueça in every game! Many touchdowns and many shots by Ver.

Just as quarterback Dak Prescott's contract status remains uncertain, given that he may have to play out the season without a new contract of his own, the Cowboys will be checking off a box to help the popular franchise stay on top.
It will be interesting to see if Lamb continues to be highly productive for the Cowboys, having become one of the most highly paid players in the game.
