Well, it’s that time of the year again, iPhone season. We’re all brushing ourselves off after the latest Made By Google event, and we’re looking forward to Apple’s answer to what Google announced. Well, the wait will soon be over. Thanks to a new report, Apple finally announced when it’s going to host the iPhone 16 event.

Ever since Apple announced Apple Intelligence, we’ve all been waiting to see it in full force. That won’t be for some time, as many of the announced features won’t be available until sometime next year. However, when these features come out, having the latest and greatest iPhone will be the best way to enjoy them.

Apple finally announces the iPhone 16 event

With the Google Pixel event out of the way, Apple’s event will most likely be the last big tech event of the year. Let’s hope the company makes it a spectacle.

Thanks to Apple Insider Mark Gurman, we know when Apple is going to announce its new iPhone. The event is happening on September 9th, which is just a few weeks away. This time around, the tagline for the event is “It’s Glowtime”.

We don’t know what will be glowing, but we’re sure that it has something to do with AI. The new Siri animation features a glowing border. So, if this is going to center around AI, then it will make the fifth major tech event this year that focuses on AI. The other four are Samsung Galaxy Unpacked #1 and #2, Google I/O, and the Made By Google event.

As for the actual hardware, Apple is going to launch its latest series of iPhones, the iPhone 16 series. We’re sure that the company is going to do the usual and launch an iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The main improvement with these phones might not be the latest and greatest silicon; the company might tout the iPhone 16’s AI capabilities.

Rumors have been spreading that Apple is planning on delivering a different design for the iPhone 16 compared to the iPhone 15, iPhone 14, iPhone 13, and iPhone 12. Hopefully, the company will bring some sort of exciting hardware changes.
