The jockey was banned for five years after a “freak” incident in which his horse fell during a bullfight's final challenge.
Alvino Roy returned home to the bullfighting special force command post in Champ de Mars, in the Mauricio Islands.
But the jockey dismounted and sailed away from the horse, allowing his rival to pass and claim victory.
Former head chef Ian Paterson described the incident as “bizarre”, adding that it “doesn't at least look like incompetent leadership”.
In a story he gave to the commissioners, Roy said he felt Slim had changed before the bullfight and then lost the stirrups in the final stages, forcing him to leave the bullfight leader, Força Especial.
The player appeared before the public during the week, where he explained his side of the story and reiterated his belief that his image had been transferred, but that it had been verified by the drivers before the race, according to The Verge. Sports Post.
The commissioners doubted Roy's statement and asked: How did you fall? No sudden movement of the horse. Cavallo was as good as he could be. Or what really happened?
Roy again said he had removed two new riders he was using, but commissioners disagreed with his explanation and imposed a five-year suspension.
He was punished according to Seção 80.1.19 das Regras de Corrida, which states: “If the provisions of the Regras are repealed in any way, no person shall commit, incite or conspire with any person to commit any corrupt or fraudulent act or any disgraceful or prohibited practice in relation to bullfighting and the breeding and/or purchase and/or sale of horses in any country.
“It looked more like a jump than a single jump to the left,” Stependiario's manager, Riaz Khan, had told Roy, as he was accused of lying during his deposition.
Roy appealed the decision, but in the meantime two trains were suspended.
“It looks attractive, and he will not be able to return to it for training or competition,” the statement said.
“He also cannot be present on his train.” It is very likely that the case will be referred to the police.
