Mikel Arteta very satisfied with Arsenal2-0 win over Wolverhampton First League Opening, but I want to see Melorius on his team.
Kai Havertz Bukayo Saka scored to give the Gunners a very strong start to the season as we look to make another title challenge.
It was a poor performance by Arsenal, but Arteta wants more, frustrated by the way he felt his team lost or dominated at times in the second half of the match.
“There are things to improve for sure, but not very happy overall,” Arteta told Sky Sports.
“It was mainly down to our lack of control in some moments of the second half because we lost a lot of simple balls. Not if you were tired or whatever, credit to Wolves as well.
“In some situations we have to finish things better.”
He also told the BBC that he wanted his compatriots to be more clinical, saying: “Coming from 1-0 down was not enough. We had enough chances in the first half to finish the game, but let's not finish it. Not a year, very happy.
“We should have increased the spread on the closing conditions much sooner.”
Declan Rice was substituted late in the game, replaced by Gabriel Jesus after 85 minutes, but Arteta insisted the England midfielder was not injured and was barely suffering from any injuries.
Jurrien Timber has returned from the bench after a long injury lay-off that ruined his first season with the Gunners, but Riccardo Calafiori has no time to sit on the bench to make his mark.
