Nollywood actress, Susan Peters, has been renamed a prisoner under former President Olusegun Obasanjo's 12-month sentence for witchcraft and sorcery.
He said this during a drama performance titled “Aremu Omo Asabi” presented on the occasion of the passing of Obasanjo’s late mother, Mrs. Benice Obasanjo, aged 66, at the Fourth Gallery, July 24, 2024, mainly the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Auditorium, Abeokuta.
Obasanjo said her mother was 12 months pregnant before she gave birth. He attributed the delay to the influence of some witches and wizards making life difficult for his mother before God intervened.
The former president, who served two terms, regrets that he never lived to witness his achievements and enjoy the fruits of his hard work. He revealed that his mother has given birth to new children, barely two of them, and his son will live.
“I told you I haven’t been here for 12 months, and since I was born, I’ve never been left alone once. He has good children, but two of us will survive, and he will survive.
“I was the only one who went to school because my father insisted that no matter how well educated a girl was, she would end up in the kitchen.”
I go to the comments section of a blog, Susan Peters on board the former president to blame spiritual forces for delaying childbirth, and I notice how her mother delayed her pregnancy as well. She revealed that the doctor had to force my mother to go into labor.
“I don’t chow down. It’s been 11 months and 2 weeks.” “The doctor has to force you or I’m going to deliver my baby.”
