7DAYS and Naga DDB Tribal Malaysia launch ‘Gandingan Tergempak Malaysia’ to promote new Double Cream Flavours – togetherbe

As a melting pot of cultures, Malaysians are no strangers to enjoying mixed food. From kopi cham to soya cincau, the love for mixing things together comes from the belief that fun and happiness lies in the mix. When two things that are seemingly different come together, greatness is made. That is why for the new Double Cream launch, 7DAYS and Naga DDB Tribal brought together two big icons of opposing genres in Malaysia, to bring you Malaysia’s greatest mix.

 

The collaboration boasts local artists Naim Daniel and Bunga, to launch the mix of two exciting flavours, namely Double Cream Chocolate Vanilla and Double Cream Vanilla Forest Berries. The release includes a catchy tune named ‘Gandingan Tergempak Malaysia (Malaysia’s Greatest Mix), accompanied by a visually striking music video. Within the song, Naim Danial plays the character of a suave, luxurious crooner to represent the decadent nature of Double Cream Chocolate Vanilla; while Bunga plays an edgy, high-energy rapper that represents the fresh, sweet yet tart nature of Double Cream Vanilla Forest Berries. Here, they “battle” it out through song and dance on who’s flavour is the best. The song ends with them coming together through the mix of Vanilla in both flavours.

To get the nation excited and involved, 7DAYS calls upon Malaysians to try the new flavours and dance to the new song’s signature moves to win weekly exclusive prizes via the #DoubleCreamChallenge. Grand prize includes signed ‘Gandingan Tergempak’ merchandise set by Naim Daniel and Bunga with meet and greet passes, followed by first place prizes of Gandingan Tergempak 7DAYS varsity jackets, second place prizes of Gandingan Tergempak 7DAYS crossbody bags, and consolation prizes of 7DAYS Double Cream tote bags.

To join the Double Cream Challenge, just purchase and scan the QR code on 7DAYS packs and upload a TikTok or Instagram video of you dancing to the signature moves from ‘Gandingan Tergempak’ and stand a chance to win exciting prizes. #DoubleCreamChallenge is available until 14th July 2024.

Additionally, there will also be a media launch and a chance to meet Naim Daniel and Bunga at Sunway Pyramid from 25th to 28th July 2024, along with roadshows and sampling activities happening in selected stores nationwide upon the launch, up until September.
