YouTube is probably the most popular video streaming app on Android. In a recent development, it has gained a new feature where the platform will be able to surf through its video library using Google Lens. This integration of Google Lens in YouTube allows its users to use the powerful image search capabilities of Google Lens to look for videos using an image.
YouTube integrates Google Lens into its Android app
If you have the latest version of YouTube, you can find the Google Lens icon on the full-screen search page. Keep in mind that the update is still rolling out in phases, so you may not have received it yet. Look for the Google Lens icon next to the microphone icon at the top of the screen. Clicking on it will open the Google Lens interface.
It has the same interface as the original version and uses multiple algorithms to find information from images and accompanying texts. For example, if you use the Lens to take a picture of an object, like a keyboard, it will provide an option to search for “keyboard” on the YouTube app. There’s also an option to search for it on Google.

This integration does not add anything new to Google Lens’ core functions. It uses the same algorithm and gives you the same results as before. The only thing is that the users can now access it directly from the YouTube application.
