HONOR is getting ready to announced its first flip phone, and that device will feature a massive cover display. This information surfaced as part of the latest report on the device, along with some other details.
The very first flip phone from HONOR will have a massive cover display
The HONOR Magic V Flip is the alleged name of the device, and it’s expected to arrive soon. With that being said, the latest information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the best-known tipsters around. It is also expected to have a rather beefy battery… beefy for a flip phone, that is.
He shared an image of the cover screen casing, which is shown below. The cover display on the phone will go around the circular camera island, and that display will be quite massive.
The tipster says that the whole outer panel is a screen, basically. There will be a tiny bezel at the bottom, but other than that, and the camera island, everything else is reserved for the display.
He did not specify how large the outer screen will be, but it will be amongst the largest on any flip phone. HONOR did a fantastic job with its HONOR Magic V2 book-style foldable device, so we have high expectations for the Magic V Flip.

That phone is coming this year, and likely rather soon, though HONOR didn’t share the launch date or anything of the sort. That device has been rumored for quite some time. Let’s hope it will launch globally.
Back in February, the company did confirm that its first flip phone and smart ring are coming in 2024. HONOR was not exactly specific on when exactly, but that statement did manage to create some hype.
We’re also not sure about the exact design of the device. Some concept renders did surface, but nothing concrete. We’ll have to wait and see.
