The Google Pixel 8a leaks have been out of control over the last couple of weeks. This time around, we get to take a look at the Pixel 8a live images, and both EU and UK price tags.
The Pixel 8a appears in live images ahead of launch
Real-life images have been shared by Ishan Agarwal, a tipster. If you check out the image below, you’ll see three images squeezed into one. Here, you’ll see the Pixel 8a’s retail box and the device from both its front and back sides.
This is not exactly new, we’ve seen the phone’s design a ton of times thus far. This is a rather good look at it, though. The Pixel 8a will resemble its predecessor quite a bit. It will feature a camera visor on the back with two cameras in it.
You also get to see that the power/lock button will sit above the volume up and down buttons on the right. That’s the way Google does it, which is the opposite from every other OEM who uses physical buttons on the right-hand side.
The front side shot of the phone provides us with a good look at its bezels. The bezels around the phone will be thin, but still not as thin as on some flagship phones. Also, the four bezels won’t have the same thickness. A display camera hole will be here, and it will be centered.
The phone’s retail box also appeared, along with both EU & UK pricing
The retail box of this Android phone is exactly what we’d expect. Google is sticking with that simple design it has been using for years. The company’s logo is at the top, with the phone’s name and image below it.
In addition to these images, we also get to take a look at some prices. Roland Quandt revealed that the 128GB variant of the phone will cost £499 in the UK. Its 256GB storage model will set you back £559.
Arsene Lupin did reveal the price tag for Europe. He mentioned a price tag of €549, and shared a French promo image too. If you check it out below, you’ll also see an instant discount of €399. We’re presuming this discount is for a pre-order.
Do note that the charger won’t be included in the box. So this retail box will be quite thin. The phone is expected to launch at Google I/O on May 14. That’s the first of two days of Google’s developer’s conference. The launch date hasn’t been confirmed just yet, so… we’ll see.
