Samsung to open new slots for One UI 7 beta on Monday

Posted on

Samsung is reportedly reopening its One UI 7 Beta program next week. According to Max Jambor on X, Samsung will let new users join the Beta program on Monday. It is the second phase of the Beta rollout and gives more people an opportunity to try the new features coming with Samsung’s software before it hits the public.

One UI 7 Beta program to reopen

Samsung initially launched the One UI 7 Beta for its Galaxy S24 series, and now, more markets will be included. The Beta program is already live in countries like South Korea, Germany, the UK, and the United States. However, the majority were unable to enroll themselves because it filled up quickly, or they didn’t have the availability of a program in their region.

Now, Samsung will open new slots for the Beta. This will allow more users in countries like India to sign up. In addition to Jambor’s post, Samsung support experts have also confirmed that the Beta will be available starting December 16 (Monday).

If you would like to try the Beta, you should act quickly. To sign up for the Beta, simply open the Samsung Members app on your eligible Galaxy device. If the One UI 7 Beta is available in your country, you’ll probably see a banner on the home screen. Tap on the banner and follow the on-screen instructions to enroll. First, make sure you’re signed in with your Samsung account; a Samsung account is required to participate in beta programs.

Samsung’s plan for the One UI 7 Beta 2 release remains unclear

It’s unclear whether Samsung will indeed release One UI Beta 2 on that date, or just reopen the program and send out Beta 1 to the ones who are waiting. Beta 2 will probably come to the initial participants as it will expand One UI 7 Beta to more markets.

The One UI 7 Beta 2 will bring some exciting changes. According to a report from Sammyfans, the update will include smoother animations, fluid transitions, enhanced performance, fewer app compatibility issues, and bug fixes that improve the overall user experience. Samsung will continue to improve the software with each beta update.

Samsung has officially confirmed that the stable One UI 7 will roll out alongside the upcoming Galaxy S25 series in the first quarter of 2025.
