As part of its opening promo, ChargEV is offering free and discounted charging rate for a limited time.

For this location, ChargEV has deployed a Kempower DC Charger solution which has a total capacity of 400kW shared across 5x CCS2 satellite terminals. The five charging bays are located on the ground level and there are no valet or parking fees required.

To activate these chargers, you’ll have to use the ChargEV app.

With four other EVs plugged in, we managed to charge a Kia EV6 from 49% to 80% in 13 minutes, with a peak rate of 191kW. Our session with 27kWh charged was free of charge with the current promo.

Similar to ChargEV’s Berjaya Times Square and Aeon Mall Shah Alam EV charging locations, the DC charger is priced at RM1.60 per kWh.

Free charging and 50% off promo for EV charging

In conjunction with the first day operations, ChargEV is offering free charging for its The Starling Mall location until 11:59pm on 25th November 2024. For the next four days (26th to 29th November), these chargers are offered with a 50% discount (RM0.80 per kWh).

According to the T&C, the charging promo is limited for up to a maximum of 1 hour per session per EV per day. They also urged EV owners to move their vehicles within 10 minutes after charging is completed to allow other users to charge.
