We’re only a few months away from Samsung’s latest Galaxy S phones, and the excitement is building up. As usual, most of the excitement centers around the Ultra model. After numerous leaks and rumors exposing the Galaxy S25 Ultra, we may finally have our first look at this device. A few leaked dummies show us the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s rounded corners.
Samsung’s Galaxy 24 Ultra closely resembles the Galaxy S23 Ultra… and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Also, we can’t forget about the later Galaxy Note phones. So, this visual aesthetic has more than run its course, and we’ve long pined for something different from the Korean giant. Galaxy users are starting to know how iPhone users feel.
However, rumors arose earlier this year stating that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will sport notably rounded corners compared to the S24 Ultra. Many online said that it’ll resemble an iPhone, but that may not be the case. Much of the leaked information about the Galaxy S25 Ultra focused on the specs and release date, but we’ll see more visuals of this phone surface as we get closer to the official launch.
Leaked dummies just showed use the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s rounded corners
As with any leak, you’ll want to take this news with a grain of salt. There’s no telling if this information is completely accurate, so keep that in mind.
Thanks to @Jukanlosreve on X (via Android Authority), we now have a couple of images showing what the Galaxy S25 could look like. These are dummy units, so they should closely resemble the final product. In the image below, we see the Galaxy S25 dummies from the front and the back. Looking at them from the back, we see a lighter colorway and a darker one.
What’s most notable about this image is how rounded the corners are. They are noticeably more rounded than the corners on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, they’re not so rounded as to give up the Galaxy S Ultra identity. Other details like the camera sensor positioning, number of camera sensors, and logo placement are unchanged compared to previous iterations. These dummies also go along with the Galaxy S25 Ultra renders that Android Headlines exclusively leaked.
So, it looks like another batch of mild changes this year around. Only time will tell if Samsung will bring any sort of changes to make the upgrade worth it. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will cost more than previous generations.
