Vivo has just launched two of its latest flagships, the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, here in Malaysia. The X200 Pro Mini which is also offered in other markets such as China is dropped for our market.

Vivo X200 series Malaysia pricing and availability

In Malaysia, both the Vivo X200 and the Vivo X200 Pro are offered in a single configuration, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Prices for these smartphones are as follows:

  • Vivo X200 (16GB + 512GB) – RM3,599
  • Vivo X200 Pro (16GB + 512GB) – RM4,699

Vivo Malaysia is also offering you gifts worth up to RM1,787 when you purchase the Vivo X200 series. Available only till the 22nd of November 2024, the gifts include a Vivo 50W Vertical Wireless Flash Charger 2 or Vivo TWS 3e earbuds, a Vivo laptop backpack, a 1+1 years Vivo Care extended warranty, and a 1-year Vivo Care screen protection warranty.

You can purchase these devices via Vivo Malaysia’s E-Store, as well as the brand’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.

Vivo X200

The Vivo X200 is offered in two colourways, namely Midnight Green and Aurora Grey. The Vivo X200 Pro on the other can be had in either Midnight Black or Titanium Grey.

At the front of the Vivo X200 is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, featuring 2800 x 1260 pixels. The Vivo X200 Pro’s display is slightly larger at 6.78 inches featuring LTPO AMOLED technology, giving it a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Under the hood of the Vivo X200 series is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Both models offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage here in Malaysia.

Vivo X200 Pro

In the imaging department, the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are fitted with a tri-camera setup, featuring Zeiss optics. Specifically, the Vivo X200 sports a 50MP f/1.6 main camera, a 50MP f/2.6 telephoto camera, and a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide sensor.

Meanwhile, its Pro sibling gets a 50MP f/1.6 main camera with a 1/1.28″ Sony LYT-818 sensor and Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, as well as a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide sensor. Also included with the X200 Pro is a new 200MP f/2.7 Zeiss APO telephoto camera on the Vivo X200 Pro, taken from the X100 Ultra.

For better durability, the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are rated with IP68 and IP69, protecting them against dust and water.

As for battery, the Vivo X200 is packed with a 5,800mAh cell, while the X200 Pro gets a larger 6,000mAh unit. Both smartphones run on Vivo’s latest Funtouch OS 15, built atop Android 15.
