Nubia has confirmed that its Nubia Z70 Ultra flagship will launch on November 21 with an under-display camera. That’s not all, though, the company actually showed the phone’s front design and detailed the display too.
The Nubia Z70 Ultra is coming with an under-display camera and a compelling design
The Nubia Z70 Ultra will feature a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display. That display will be flat, and offer a 144Hz refresh rate. It won’t have a display camera hole or notch, as an under-display camera will be used.
That panel will offer a max brightness of 2,000 nits, and have a 95.3-percent screen-to-body ratio. Its bezels will be only 1.25mm thick, by the way. If these specs seem familiar, that’s because we saw them yesterday, when the RedMagic 10 Pro series gaming smartphones launched.
Much like the RedMagic 10 Pro, this smartphone will have uniform bezels on all sides. It will also be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, just like its sibling, the gaming RedMagic 10 Pro handset.
Nubia said that it’ll use aerospace-grade materials to make the borders as thin as 0.7mm on the device. The exact display resolution will be 2688 x 1216, and the PPI will be 430, in case you’re wondering.
Plenty of AI features will be included
This phone will also ship with Nebula AIOS in China and will support AI voice ticket booking, AI voice expression control, AI smart image search, and AI smart text and social media publishing.
It remains to be seen if Nubia plans to launch this smartphone to global markets too, though. It would certainly attract plenty of attention to itself based on its design. The RedMagic 10 Pro series will be coming to global markets.
We’ll get far more information later this month when the device becomes official. We won’t know anything about the global launch at that point, though, at least that’s what we expect. Nubia could share some information at a later date.
