Less than an hour later, at 5:22 a.m., part of the entrance to another supermarket, Lupita's Corner Market and Deli, was destroyed, authorities confirm. Lupita's is located on corner 3third Rua com Avenida Lucas, less than eight hundred meters from the vandalized Mercearia.
This place has a metal garage type door in front of the display case when it gets old, but vandals will get around it and enter the diner, display it, or video it.
The police were unable to confirm whether anything had been taken from Lupita; However, it is not known whether the two incidents are related or not.
No description of suspeito or suspeitos was immediately available.
