A traffic accident involving four vehicles, on Saturday evening, led to the death of a motorcyclist in the Gardena area, ranked second at the police level.
The Gardena Police Department said police would respond to the crash when she crossed Western Avenue at 139th Street at 6:09 p.m.
Four damaged vehicles, including a bus, were not crossing, and paramedics pronounced the non-local motorcyclist dead.
Investigators will determine that the motorcyclist was traveling on South Western Avenue when he struck the rear bumper of the bus, thus striking another vehicle.
The Hawthorne Police Department and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating this fatal crash.
Police said the names of two motorists are still under investigation. Anyone testifying at a traffic police station is encouraged to designate an officer from the Hawthorne Police Department, Nambu, or an investigator from the Gardena Police Department, Zamudio.
