The San Antonio Spurs have the most promising young players in the league and perhaps in all of professional sports.
Victor Wimbanyama needs to be surrounded by veterans who can teach him the fundamentals of the game and the NBA lifestyle, and show him what he will teach and what he needs to win.
However, we also need to give him a young companion, someone who will fit into his schedule and work with him in the years to come.
That's why they were interested in J. Stefon's castle.
The UConn product has one of the most promising prospects this year and appears to have made a strong impression on some of his veterans.
Recently, Chris Paul claimed that Castle was better than him when he entered the league (via Spurs Culture ).

Future member of the Hall of Fame. He praised how he knew how to coach a player in college when he joined the league, and Paul was very impressed with Dan Hurley's work.
Castle has the ability to be a two-way point guard with the best point guard in the game, while at the same time being an absolute bolt on defense, and his improv and non-basketball instincts are also notable for a young player.
He just needs to develop a consistent offense and could be a legitimate random candidate to win the Estreante do Ano, just as Wimpanyama is expected to occupy most of the positions on Gregg Popovich's squad this season.
