Ibanez MGFM10-OBL
Manuel Gardner-Fernandes’ new signature model, the Ibanez MGFM10-OBL, has a head-turning finish and a modern headless design. The Obsidian Black low-gloss finish is applied to a quilted maple top on a Nyatoh body.
It has gold hardware throughout, which includes the Ibanez Mono-Tune bridge.
Parallel Wizard
This signature model has the Parallel Wizard three-piece Roasted Maple/Bubinga neck and a matching Roasted Birdseye Maple fretboard fitted with 22 jumbo stainless steel frets. The neck has Mother-of-pearl offset dots and luminescent side dot inlays.
dyna-MIX10
It comes with the dyna-MIX10 switching system with an Alter Switch, which gives the two gold Q-85 humbuckers plenty of useful tonal variations. It also has a standard five-way switch, which switches between different humbucker and single coil combinations for both pickups.
Ibanez states that these Q58 pickups are perfect for headless guitars. They have a clear sound that makes every note easy to hear. The bass is strong but not muddy, and the treble is bright but not harsh. These pickups are great for both digital and analogue effects.
If you want a modern headless guitar for playing slick guitar lines, this black-and-gold beauty could be just what you need.
