A prolific thief uses high-tech spy devices to disable the security of people's homes and steal their high-value cars.
Damon Keegan, 33, was found in possession of a radio frequency jammer, a sophisticated gadget capable of blocking mobile phone and Wi-Fi signals.
When Keegan was arrested on November 22, 2023, he was found with a radio frequency jammer, a sophisticated tool often used by criminals, capable of blocking cell phone and Wi-Fi signals.
Over the course of twelve months, Keegan committed numerous crimes, amassing approximately £350,000 in high-value stolen cars.
They used different methods to steal cars, but each one was intrusive and left the victims uncomfortable in their homes.
On one occasion in Knutsford, in May 2023, Keegan was disturbed by an alarm in the early morning hours. Press to exit, and leave behind the radio frequency jammer, identical to the one you learned from Keegan in prison. A forensic examination of the device also identified Keegan's DNA.

In Liem City, in October 2023, a black BMW X5 was stolen from a parking garage. Keegan disconnected the Wi-Fi so the owner wouldn't be notified by a campaign camera and broke into the house to steal the keys.
During the investigation, police discovered a garage next to Keegan's residential area that appeared to be used exclusively to prepare robberies. Items recovered included a backpack containing clothing sets, empty car keys, a spy camera, a backpack, shoes, replacement shoes, clothing, a machine, and several Apple Air tags.
His robo wave is seeing some high value cars in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire.
Manchester Police said in a statement: “In August 2023, Manchester Police launched a proactive investigation into several burglaries targeting high value vehicles in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire.

“Proactive work by our Tactical Vehicle Interdiction Unit has identified multiple burglaries and sightings of stolen luxury vehicles that appear to be linked, and Damon Keegan has been identified as a potential suspect. Detectives from our Serious Organized Crime Group have been formed to investigate the crimes, and Authorizing a monitoring operation to collect evidence and information.
“Damon Keegan (11/05/1992) of Woodland View, Hyde, appeared at Minshull Street, Manchester Crown Court today (Day 6, 27 September). He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob, seven counts of burglary, one count of attempted robbery and one count of One count of theft of a motor vehicle, one count of preparing to steal, and three counts of handling stolen goods and lost addresses.
“He spent 6 years and 11 months in prison.”
On several occasions, Keegan committed the robberies while under electronic monitoring (EMS) through a phone call between 7pm and 7am. Regardless, he stole an Audi A3 from Right in Timperley and an Audi S3 from Congleton and Stockport, further incriminating himself.
A close examination of EMS data determined that Keegan was not home during the hours of the pickup, when the burglaries were committed.

Detective Constable Holden, from our Serious Organized Crime Group, said: “Keegan was a prolific thief with a string of similar previous convictions who, in the space of twelve months, stole more than £300,000 worth of luxury cars. Their methods were intrusive and disastrous, and often They invaded people's homes while they slept, leaving them unable to work or take their children to school when they agreed, and saw their cars destroyed and their homes vandalized.
“This was an extensive investigation that went above and beyond and included cooperating with Vizinhas to connect Keegan's crimes and ensure that he faces consequences for all of his crimes. These crimes have significant financial and emotional impacts on our victims, and I hope this makes clear that no matter what measures you may take to conceal your crime, we will We are exhausting all lines of investigation to ensure it is put behind the scenes.
“There is no end to the story, the issues presented by the team in this investigation are hearsay that Keegan had no other choice but to convict him.”
