J.Rockett Audio PXO: Signature Overdrive for Phil X
The J.Rockett Audio PXO, also known as the Phil X Overdrive, is a new overdrive and boost pedal developed in close collaboration with renowned rock and roll guitarist Phil X. If you’ve been living under a (classic) rock, Phil X is best known as the guitarist for Bon Jovi and as the frontman of his own band, Phil X and the Drills.
This overdrive was designed for both live and studio situations and has proven to be an indispensable tool for the master himself, shining in every backline situation.
What’s inside?
The PXO offers a versatile boost, an EQ and a couple of overdrive options, which allow you to shape your sound how you like. With overdrive controls, including volume, gain, overdrive and EQ, this pedal offers everything you would expect from a high-quality overdrive.
On the boost side, you’ll find a separate Tilt EQ that makes tone control intuitive and effortless. This is where you shift the center frequency to determine where you want the booster to kick in.
A particularly exciting feature of the J.Rockett Audio PXO is the ability to choose between pre- and post-settings and to switch the effects in any order. When using the J.Rockett Audio PXO, you’ll experience a lush, thick feel in the low end, while the gentle top end encourages you to play each note with Phil X’s signature ferocity!
