After a disappointing start to the 2024 NFL regular season, with a road loss to the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets are back with back-to-back wins in not two weeks.
Empora's opponents aren't in the same league as the 49ers in terms of their presence on both sides of the football, or the Jets are winning the games they've just played, or that this is a good sign for progress with Rodgers at quarterback.
The Jets defeated the Tennessee Titans at home in Week 2 and then defeated division rival New England Patriots in the first half at home at MetLife Stadium.
Along with Rodgers returning to form as one of the league's top two defenders, the Jets have something to build on heading into Week 4, when they face the Denver Broncos, who just came off a stunning win over Baker Mayfield's Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ahead of the Week 4 game with Sean Payton's time, the Jets will decide to make some moves, with the team signing safety Jalen Mills and linebacker Brandon Smith, as well as releasing safety Jaylen Key for practice time, according to Time X.

Mills' addition appears to be the most notable of the two additions to the defensive side in football time, as the former Super Bowl champion could draw some championship experience for that time in the future.
It will be interesting to see if the Jets can keep their winning streak going this weekend, as the Broncos seemed to figure something out last week against the Buccaneers.
