Earlier in June, Motorola introduced the Razr and Razr+ (review) in the US (Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra globally). The company now appears to be planning to launch a third member in the series. The upcoming phone is called the Motorola Razr 50s, as per the reports. Earlier this month, the device appeared on the HDR10+ certification website. The Motorola Razr 50s smartphone just popped up in the database of the benchmarking app Geekbench.

Geekbench reveals the specifications of the Motorola Razr 50s

First spotted by 91mobiles, the Motorola Razr 50s has appeared in the database of the benchmarking app Geekbench. A Dimensity 7300 processor is powering the smartphone. Notably, a variant of the same chip already powers the vanilla Motorola Razr 50. The Geekbench results also reveal a Mali-G615 MC2 graphics processing unit and 8GB of RAM.

On Geekbench, the Motorola Razr 50s has managed to score 1,040 points on the single-core test. The device has achieved a multi-core score of 3,003 points. Thanks to the earlier certification, we already know that the phone will support HDR10+ content.

The Motorola Razr 50s could bring the price of the foldable even lower

The Razr or Razr 50 is currently retailing in the US for $699. The price makes it a great option for those looking to break into the foldable phone segment. The Motorola Razr 50s could bring the price of the foldable even lower, suggest the reports. Notably, some reports indicate that the Razr 50s may not launch in the US.

That said, we don’t know much about the specifications of this phone at the moment. The vanilla Razr features a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED vertically foldable main display. The device flaunts a 3.6-inch pOLED outer screen. There’s a Dimensity 7300X SoC under the hood, aided by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage.

At the rear, the phone gets a 50MP main camera, which is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies and video calling, the device has a 32MP sensor. A beefy 4,200mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging support keeps the whole package alive.

We expect the Razr 50s to share similar specs as the vanilla model with some additional downgrades.
