The table top barnstormer no one has told a bookie for years about First League Poetry title: Million's Poet? Bym…

We never knew that. Manchester City and Arsenal Only two years of study at the English elite, despite the initial success he enjoyed. LiverpoolChelsea vs Aston Villa.

We never knew City were the best equipped in the division and we never knew the Gunners' defence was on a different level.

We also never knew that there was not much between the two sides in the betting market and not much was said.

The final difference of the season can be summed up in some intangible elements and one of them could be the historic discipline of the two clubs.

Arsenal have already had two players sent off this season and that indiscipline could come back to bite them in the final – they could have picked up four points, two each against Brighton and City.

Or the same could happen with the Dark Arts policy that confuses the game, wastes time, and completely fails the rules. Another tough decision on this one.

Both teams have earned huge credit as the Etihad's epic, with City extending their home unbeaten run to 48 games, while Arsenal are unbeaten away in 2024 and have picked up seven points on fearsome trips to Aston Villa, Tottenham and now City.

They have the best defence in the Premier League and are clearly backed by the best goalkeeper in the top flight, with David Raya not at the top of the tree.

City are now 5/4 with Ladbrokes, Coral and Betway depending on the title, while Arsenal are 2/1 with bet365 and several others, and we'll bet on the Gunners, in our pre-selection, with little difference between the champions.

As such, City have a quick turnaround to face Watford on night three, in the Carabao Cup qualifiers, and they have enough strength to beat the Hornets, as well as several changes to their line-up.

Phil Foden should start after being a second-half substitute against the Gunners and is 23/5 with SpreadEx to open or tackle and 6/5 with bet365 and BoyleSports to balance the net at any time.

O City are 6/5 with Paddy Power and Betfair to win by more than two goals and a 3-0 home win resumes at 6/1 with Bet365.

• Blackpool, Leyton Orient and Wigan make up the third round of the Football League.

• England have struggled in the one-day international series more than Australia, with the tourists hard to beat at Chester-le-Street.

The Aussies are 8/13 to succeed with William Hill, while their bookie friend Travis Head is 3/1 with Paddy Power and Betfair as their tool. Jamie Smith is 5/1 with the same companies and is betting that Victor will be the best rebounder for an England team currently sitting sixth and seventh in the baseline.
