A day after thousands of pagers exploded across Lebanon, more explosions of mobile devices, including walkie-talkies, laptops and radios, killed at least 14 people and injured 450.
On the third day, the detonation of explosive-laden Hezbollah pagers killed 12 people and injured about 3,000.
In the fourth quarter, stories of multiple simultaneous explosions spread rapidly on messaging apps, with people sharing photos of blown-up walkie-talkies and empty apartment buildings. Here’s what we know:
Where are new explosions happening in Lebanon?
Information is still available, but several explosions were reported in the southern suburbs of Beirut, as well as in the city of Tyre, on the afternoon of the fourth exhibition.
Images posted on social media show vehicles in cars and smoke rising from a residential area as we watch stories of wireless radios and solar cells exploding.
Al Jazeera correspondent Ali Hashem witnessed a car explosion during a funeral in Lebanon. It appears that the car caught fire due to an internal explosion, and was not hit by a drone, he said.
He said: “Several explosions occurred in southern Lebanon and in the southern suburbs of Beirut… on walkie-talkies, not pagers.”
There was massive chaos in the streets, ambulances rushed to rescue the wounded, and more explosions were reported, causing fear and panic.
“We are currently experiencing another wave, … which is really worrying, given that the Ontime incident has weighed heavily on everything in the health sector,” Hashem added.
Or what exploded?
There are reports of several different devices exploding.
These include radios, cell phones, laptops, and some solar power systems.
Several cars also exploded, but it is not clear whether this was caused by the car itself exploding or by something inside it.
What radios explode?
A common walkie-talkie is a portable two-way radio that allows people to exchange messages over the walkie-talkie or with other people using portable receivers.
Only short range devices need to be close to their base to be able to transmit.
The devices called walkie-talkies appear to be IC-V82s, manufactured by the Japanese company ICOM.
The radios have a much greater range than standard walkie-talkies, and the IC-V82 is typically used by amateurs, according to the Jerusalem Post, for personal use, not for commercial or emergency transmissions.
How do you operate wireless radios?
Again, the details remain unclear.
Some observers wonder if the fourth party explosions are similar to those that occurred the same year as the pagers.
Thus, it was possible to infiltrate the supply chain and load the devices with 1 to 3 grams (0.04 to 0.11 ounces) of a powerful explosive.
At least some Hezbollah members appear to believe the explosions are linked to batteries.
Many quickly removed the batteries from their radios and left them behind after a fire broke out during a funeral in a southern suburb of Beirut, Reuters reported.
Pagers use wireless transmission and reception, in addition to radio, of course.
Most of the affected devices appear to be communications systems, but there have also been some reports of explosions from other devices, such as solar panels. Less hair than hair loss.
Hezbollah and the Lebanese government have accused Israel of being responsible for the explosions. Israel has not commented.
Why does Israel carry out such bombings?
Israel's long-term strategy is unclear, but the attacks represent a significant escalation against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant further stoked fears on the night of the fourth exhibition, saying the Israeli military would divert troops and resources from its nearly year-long war in Gaza to the north, where Israel borders Lebanon.

“This Israeli attack is seen in Lebanon as a terrorist attack because it is food or terrorism,” Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan said from Beirut. “And the people are there with Mido.”
Magnier said that Israel was able to “create confusion between Hezbollah and society.”
The reports were noted in the chaotic atmosphere as evidence that Israel's strategy of waiting more than 24 hours before the second explosion had indeed occurred.
“This is exactly Israel's goal: to create such confusion and perhaps prepare for a third stage,” he said.
“We have to wait and see what he's up to next, because that's not all.”
