- At least one person was injured and several houses were damaged in an attack by Russian drones in Ukraine's Kyiv region, Kyiv Governor Ruslan Kravchenko said.

- The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston charged Sam Bhambhani and Maxim Teslenko with illegal smuggling and conspiracy to violate export controls by selling equipment to Russia’s nuclear power industry. Bhambhani was arrested on Sept. 9 and released after appearing in court. Teslenko, who lives in Moscow, remains an alien.
- In Ukraine, Russian-Canadian filmmaker Anastasia Trofimova, the director of a controversial war documentary, has been blacklisted by the national security authorities. In Ukraine, he says his film, “Russians at War,” which features interviews with soldiers fighting on the front lines in Ukraine, is “Russian propaganda” about Moscow’s invasion.
- Russia has charged more than two dozen military officials with accepting bribes, investigators said in the second such case, the latest in a series of jail terms linked to alleged corruption in the defense ministry.
