The OPPO Find X8 will get a major redesign. A real-life image surfaced to show us that new design, but before we get there, let’s talk about the OPPO Find X7 for a second.
The OPPO Find X7, and its ‘Pro’ sibling, featured a curved display, with a thin frame poking out on the sides. Well, the OPPO Find X8 will deliver a major change, and look more like the Pixel 9, kind of.
The OPPO Find X8 will deliver a major redesign
If you take a look at the image provided below, you’ll see the alleged OPPO Find X8. As you can see, it has a flat display this time around, with very thin bezels. Its frame will also be flat all around.
That frame will curve slightly towards the edges so that it’s more comfortable to hold. That’s also something both Apple and Google did with their latest smartphones.
A display camera hole will still sit at the top of the display, and be centered. The phone’s top and side bezels are extremely thin, and the same thickness, it seems. Let’s hope the same will be the case with the bottom bezel too, as we can’t see it here.
You will also notice that the power/lock and volume up and down buttons are all located on the right-hand side of the phone. This phone seems to offer a dark gray color, well, at least its frame does. We’re guessing the frame is made out of aluminum.
A camera oreo is expected to be included on the back
We’re expecting all members of the OPPO Find X8 series to include a round camera oreo on the back. That’s one thing that hopefully won’t change much compared to the OPPO Find X7 series.
If OPPO ends up sticking with the same lineup as in current-gen devices, we’ll get the OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra handsets. The Find X8 Ultra will likely see a similar change to the Find X8. Why? Well, the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra were very similar design-wise.
The OPPO Find X8 is expected to offer a 5,700mAh battery and 80W wired charging (wireless charging is also expected, most likely 50W). The Find X8 Ultra is said to feature a 6,000mAh battery and 100W wired charging, plus 50W wireless charging. Do note that the OPPO Find X8 Pro remains a possibility too, even though the Find X7 Pro didn’t launch at all.
