“O Urso” star Lisa Colón Zayas could barely hold back tears as Emmy Melhor Atriz Coajuvant starred in a comedy series at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.
“To all the Latinos who love me, keep voting and voting. Vote for your right,” Colon-Zayas said in his oil speech.
Colón-Zayas is competing in a particularly hotly contested category. This year’s Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante Award in the Série de Comédia included Carol Burnett for “Palm Royale” on Apple TV+, Hannah Einbinder for “Hacks” on Max, Janelle James for “Abbott Elementary” on ABC, Sheryl Lee Ralph for “Abbott Elementary” on ABC and Meryl Streep for “Only Murders in the Building” on Hulu. When the “Bear” star took the stage to accept the award, she admitted she hadn’t written a speech.
