Xiaomi makes a whole lot of stuff across a whole lot of different product categories, and that includes gaming monitors, and this week the company announced three new options that all come in at reasonable price points.
Affordable gaming monitors aren’t unheard of. What’s unheard of are brands like Xiaomi reaching into this space as it’s typically associated with smartphones. Even if these aren’t the company’s first gaming monitors to hit the market, they’re probably seldom the brand that gamers think about when shopping for a monitor. You might want to start putting Xiaomi on your list of considerations, though. Especially with these three new options that launched this week.
New Xiaomi gaming monitors include the G Pro 27i
The G Pro 27i is Xiaomi’s flagship option out of the three. It comes with a 27-inch Mini-LED display panel, a 180Hz refresh rate, a WQHD resolution, and a screen brightness of up to 1,000 nits. So yeah, it gets bright. There’s also the G27Qi which is a 27-inch monitor as well. This one isn’t Mini-LED but it does have 2K resolution and a pretty fast refresh rate of 180Hz. Plus a 1ms response time. It’s also considerably less money than the G Pro 27i.
Lastly, there’s the G24i which uses an IPS panel. This one comes with a smaller 23.8-inch display size so it’s more suitable for compact desks. It comes with a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time as well. That’s good news for the person shopping for a monitor on a budget. Because this is the least expensive monitor out of the three, and you aren’t giving up some of the most important features by going with it over the others.
All monitors are now available
Xiaomi says that all three monitors are available starting September 10, so at this point, they’re all available for purchase according to the company. You can find both the G Pro 27i and G27Qi on Amazon. The G Pro 27i retails for $330, while the G27Qi retails for $180.
The G24i retails for $120 so it’s incredibly inexpensive, but we couldn’t find this one on Amazon or at Walmart currently where it’s supposed to be listed. The monitors look pretty sleek and you get a decent amount of ports (at least with the G Pro 27i), including two HDTV, two DisplayPort, one for audio, and the DC port for power to the monitor.
