HBO recommends a new comedy series starring Rachel Sennott.
The project, which is starred, written and produced by the “Shiva Baby” actress, follows a group of codependent friends who come together, moving through time, with new ambitions and relationships that will change them.
Along with Sennott, the show's cast included Odessa Azion (“Sitting in Bars with Cake,” “Grand Army”), Jordan Firstman (“Rotting in the Sun,” “Dave”), Miles Robbins (“Blockers,” “Old Fathers”) and True Whitaker (“Padrinho do Harlem”).
Oh pilot, mid-hour, from I received a request from the network in March.It is executive produced by Sennott, Emma Barry (“Barry”), Aida Rodgers (“Barry”), and Lorene Scafaria (“Succession”), who directed the film.

“I’m so excited for Amy and HBO to have the opportunity to host this show and the amazing team that’s been a part of raising it,” Sennott added. “I’ll come up with a title soon, I promise!”
Sennott most recently played PJ, another meta-platonic Josie Ayo Edebiri, in “Bottoms,” which she co-wrote with director Emma Seligman. Seligman also directed Sennott in “Shiva Baby.”
Sennott also appears alongside Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd in HBO's The Idol as Leia. She starred as Alice in the A24 comedy thriller Bodies Bodies Bodies.
Sennott trained at New York University with a concentration in art, and saw Seligman's groundbreaking performance “Shiva Baby,” originally a student film that was adapted into a feature film. His television debut came in the HBO comedy-drama “High Maintenance.”
The actress had a regular role on ABC's “Call Your Mother” and worked with “The Bear” star and Emmy Award winner Edebiri in Comedy Central's production of “Ayo and Rachel Are Single and Speak Up.” She co-starred with Nicole Kidman in “Holland, Michigan” and will also play Rosie Schuster in “SNL 1975.”
