Roborock is celebrating its 10th anniversary by launching five new products during the IFA 2024 event. The company’s new robot vacuum cleaners suggest that we are not so far from models capable of climbing stairs. While that’s not yet possible, products such as the Roborock Qrevo Curv and Qrevo Edge can be a first step with their lifting systems. The brand also launched an ultra-slim robot vacuum cleaner, a powerful cordless vacuum, and a smart washer-dryer.
Roborock launched the Qrevo Curv and Qrevo Edge self-raising robot vacuum cleaners at IFA 2024
The Roborock Qrevo Curv and Qrevo Edge may be the most interesting products presented by the company during IFA 2024. Both devices are the same, except for the design of the base. The Curv and Edge’s distinctive feature is the so-called AdaptLift Chassis, a self-raising feature. The system has three wheels, and the front one can raise 10 mm while adjusting the other two. This results in the ability to overcome thresholds of up to 30 mm (standard) and 40 mm (double layer). The AdaptLift Chassis’ capabilities work alongside the company’s obstacle avoidance technology to clean anywhere without a hitch.
The Qrevo Curv and Edge also boast a suction power of 18,500 Pa and 75°C hot mop-washing to ensure the elimination of bacteria. The company integrated a dual anti-tangle brush system. There’s also a FlexiArm Arc anti-tangle side brush that can reach into tricky corners.
Qrevo Slim can clean under low furniture; new cordless vacuum and washer-dryer
Roborock launched the Qrevo Slim with a very different approach. While it’s still a robot vacuum, it’s designed with slimness in mind. This design, with a height of just 3.3 inches, makes it simple for the robot to clean under low furniture. This particular model boasts a suction power of 11,000 Pa. There’s a mapping and obstacle recognition system based on dual-light 3D ToF (time of flight) technology, lasers, and an RGB camera.
The Roborock H5 cordless vacuum cleaner boasts a slim and lightweight design (1.82 kg). However, it still offers a suction power of 158 AW, as well as a five-stage filtration system. The company also integrated a nine-cyclone dust separation technology to guarantee solvent-cleaning capabilities.
Lastly, the company introduced the Roborock Zeo Lite smart washer-dryer with the “world’s first Zeo-cycle technology” based on improved water vapor absorption capabilities to protect delicate fabrics. The washer can complete a full cycle in one hour and includes up to 27 wash and dry modes. For a hands-free laundry experience, you can even customize them via the Roborock App.
The Roborock Qrevo Curv will be available for pre-order on September 9 in Western Europe for €1499.99. You can buy the Roborock Qrevo Slim for €1299.99 in Western Europe.
