ECOVACS has created the ultimate robot vacuum with the DEEBOT X8 Family
At IFA this week, ECOVACS debuted the DEEBOT X8 family of robot vacuums – consisting of DEEBOT X8 and DEEBOT X8 Pro. These are pretty powerful robot vacuums, boasting suction power of 12,900Pa. To put that in perspective, most canister vacuums are around 15,000Pa. So, this is almost as powerful as a regular vacuum.
Of course, ECOVACS did not stop there. The company also worked to eliminate a number of other pain points, with the DEEBOT X8. That includes ZeroTangle 2.0. With ZeroTangle 2.0, whatever dirt and debris is picked up off of your floors should not get tangled in the brush or roller. TruEdge 2.0 is also on board here, which has an adaptive side brush that can get into corners and edges around the room, leaving no dirt or dust behind. It extends into the gap for thorough cleaning. Adaptive Edge Mopping also works in conjunction, so your entire floor is mopped.
ECOVACS debuts compact OMNI Station that can do it all
ECOVACS has redesigned its All-in-1 OMNI Station, which now features temperature-controlled hot water mop washing, high-temperature hot air drying, auto cleaning solution being added for water tanks, giving the user a longer maintenance-free cycle. With this design, ECOVACS was able to shorten the height of the station by 39cm (about 15 inches for those of us in the US). This makes the OMNI Station easier to blend into rooms, instead of standing out.
Finally, the DEEBOT X8 also has AI-based stain detection and instant re-mop. So you no longer have to worry about whether the robot vacuum got that stain off of your kitchen floor. It uses deep learning to spot stains and automatically initiates a re-mop plan for thorough cleaning. It uses the AIVI 3D depth-sensing visual module to detect these stains.
