The Circular Ring Slim debuted back at the end of June and the company is now launching a limited edition style of its new wearable, called the Circular Ring Slim Silver Edition. This is essentially just a new color of the smart ring so they’re aren’t any new features, but that likely doesn’t matter to most consumers, specifically the ones looking at the Circular Ring Slim as a viable option for a smart ring.
Circular says that its fans have given it “many requests” for a silver color and the company was happy to oblige. It’s not clear if Circular had always planned to release a limited edition silver style, or if it simply decided to do so after those looking to buy one continued to request the option. Either way, the end result is the same. You can now buy the Circular Ring Slim in a limited edition silver color.
This is in addition, of course, to Circular’s already existing color option which is black. That’s still only two color choices, whereas Samsung offers three with the Galaxy Ring. Companies like Oura offer significantly more options, including silver, black, stealth, gold, rose gold, and burnished titanium across its two ring styles. Interestingly, Circular offers several color options for outer shells that include gold and rose gold in addition to black and silver. However, these are only for Circular Pro models.
The Circular Ring Slim Limited Silver Edition will launch before the holidays
Circular plans to show the ring off at IFA this week but it won’t actually be available to buy just yet. The company says it’s planning to launch the ring before the holidays. With that time frame, it should be available in plenty of time to be given as a gift if you were looking to pick one up for someone else.
the company doesn’t mention a specific price point, so we imagine the cost is the same as the regular Circular Ring Slim that comes in black. The cost of that model is just under $300, so expect the same here since there are no new features.
You can reserve yours ahead of the launch date
If you want to secure a limited edition silver model for yourself, then you might want to reserve one. Circular has noted that it’s possible to reserve one now. One thing to keep in mind is that reserving is just a precaution to ensure you don’t meet an out-of-stock alert when you go to buy one. That being said, consumers may not even run into this issue in the first place. But if you are planning to buy one, there’s no real harm in reserving it anyway and no reason not to. If you feel like reserving your own, you should be able to do so at the company’s website.
