Studio Deals: Genelec 8010A
It’s been around for years, but the Genelec 8010A is still an excellent compact studio monitor for music production and speech editing. If you’re short on space and don’t want to annoy your neighbours, the 8010A will come in handy.
In addition, the 8010A is also an entry point into the renowned world of Genelec professional speakers. With a bi-amplified, rear-ported design, the 8010A is equipped with a 3-inch woofer (25W) and a 0.75-inch tweeter.
Although these baby Genelecs don’t reproduce the sub-frequencies required for mixing, you can still achieve good results by cross-referencing with your favourite pair of headphones.
