Not much may happen for the Denver Broncos next season.
But even if that's the case, one thing is certain: Patrick Surtain II will continue to excel.
Except for Champ Bailey sitting down.
While chatting with Zach Gelb at the Hall of Fame, he shared his high expectations for Surtain II (via Zach Stevens).
Champ Bailey named Pat Surtain II to the Hall of Fame by first vote.
“I hope he goes to as many Pro Bowls as he does. “Be a Hall of Famer on the first ballot.. When the game is played, it's the best (NFL cornerback)”pic.twitter.com/2kPKnrll7j

He claims Surtain has the potential to become a perennial All-Pro and future Hall of Fame member if he continues to play this way.
Billy stated that he believes these injuries are the only thing that could happen to Surtain on his way to the Hall of Fame.
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time a defender has said something like this about Surtain II.
He was very excited about it for several days in Alabama.
Surtain II is currently the best cornerback in football, and with so many people thinking about him during the offseason, the Broncos made it clear that's not in dispute.
The team doesn't need to get him a long-term extension, and we can turn him into a cornerback with the highest draft pick in NFL history when he leaves.
Surtain II also praises the Broncos organization and repeatedly talks about his desire to stay with the teams for years to come, and it should just be a question of time until something is worked out.
