Netflix series at the 5th show
Charlie Covell's comedy-drama “Kaos” hits Netflix screens on August 29, and gives Greek mythology a new adventure year by reimagining the Greek gods in a contemporary setting.
The eight-episode series, directed by Georgie Banks-Davies and Runyararu Mapfumo, will be released simultaneously on the streaming device.
Here's the official synopsis from Netflix: “Zeus has reveled in his status as king of the gods. Esu eats that he remembers her mane and discovers a carpet on his face. Neurosis sets in and sets him on a dangerous and terrifying path. Zeus is convinced his quest is coming – and he begins to see her sins everywhere.”

Jeff Goldblum as Zeus
Jeff Goldblum enters as the king of the gods, Zeus. In the Netflix drama, Zeus is a brave and demanding leader who is always concerned about his family's power line.
Goldblum, an actor and musician, has worked on “The Fly,” “Jurassic Park,” “Independence Day” and “Thor: Ragnarok” and will next appear in “Wicked.”
Janet McTeer as Hera
Janet McTeer plays Hera, Zeus' wife, Ermaeus. Empora, you two are close, but at least you fall in love with her, she is keeping a big secret that could harm her existence if Zeus discovers it.
McTeer has previously appeared in “Ozark,” “Albert Nobbs,” “Me Before You,” “The Woman in Black,” “The Menu,” and many more.
David Thewlis as Hades
David Thewlis plays the god of death, Hades, without drama on Netflix. He's also the son of Zeus and the hardest worker in the pious family.
The actor and director has released the films “Naked”, “O Menino do Pijama Listrado”, “Dragonheart” and many more.
Raki Ayola as Persephone
Raki Ayola is Persephone in Chaos, the wife of Hades, whom she married in childhood. Empora married willingly, and spent much of her time spreading rumors about her relationship. She loves Hades but despises her family.
Ayola's credits include “Grace”, “The Pact”, “Maisie Raine”, “My Quase Famous Family”, “No Offence” and many more.
Cliff Curtis as Poseidon
Cliff Curtis is the god of the sea and Zeus's rebirth, Poseidon. When Zeus is upset, he obeys his family's orders, and Poseidon makes the most of life in a certain way, less concerned that Zeus's megalomania is putting him and the one he loves in a precarious situation.
Curtis' acting credits include “Training Day,” “Colombiana,” “The Meg,” “Ricin,” and many more.
Stephen Dillane as Prometheus
Stephen Dillane enters as Prometheus, a close friend of Zeus who keeps him trapped in Penhasco, punished for stealing the fire of two gods and sharing it as mortals.
Dylan has previously starred in “The Tunnel,” “Savage Grace,” “Outlaw King,” “Darkest Hour,” “Spy Game” and many more.
Aurora Perrineau as Reddy
Aurora Perrineau plays Redi, Orfeo's wife. She is not very confident, especially since she has noticed that her husband has been unhappy for some time. So, an opportunity arises that could be the solution to a happier future for her and Orfeo.
Perrineau has previously starred in “All That We Destroy,” “It Takes Three,” “The Body,” “Passengers,” “Equals” and many more.
Killian Scott as Orfeo
Killian Scott steps into the role of Orpheus, a rock star with a big heart and a big ego. However, when a sudden change brings about a major shift in your life, it's up to you to decide how you'll try to overcome death.

Nabhan Radwan as Dionysio
Nabhan Radwan plays Dionysus, Zeus's favorite son. He lights up every comfort he enters. His character is combined with his work as a guardian of prayer and madness.
Radwan previously participated in “The Informant”, “In the Camera”, “The Accident”, “The Eleventh Station”, and “1917”.
Butler's mission as Cainius
Misia Butler plays Cainius, a undead being who has been living in the underworld since his death 10 years ago. But when you're promoted and encounter a stranger with a great opportunity, your future could change forever.
Butler's previous works include The Bastard and the Devil's Own, The School for Good and Evil, The Bend, and Aidan and Evan.
Stanley Townsend as Minos
Stanley Townsend plays Minos, or Ari's chief, Krete e pai. He is very ambitious and does nothing without his chefs and gods.
Townsend has played roles in “The Regime,” “Blackshore,” “The Teacher,” “Kinked,” and many more.
Leila Farzad as Ari
Leila Farzad plays the lead role of Ari, the son of Minos, and heir to his throne. He and his country are very close, but his relationship with me is strained, as I have been calling her many times because of the death of his brother.
Farzad has been seen in “Best”, “I Hate Suzy”, “Street 5”, “Decameron” and many more.
Billie Piper as Cassandra
Billie Piper plays Cassandra, a Trojan seeking safety on Crete. She also lives under a curse that allows her to tell the truth, but in no way proves it.
Piper has played in “Scoop,” “Doctor Who,” “I Hate Suzie,” “Penny Dreadful,” “Wednesday,” and many more.
Debi Mazar as Medusa
Debi Mazar plays Medusa, who has been dead for years. While in Hades, she works as a riverbank manager at Lethe. She also acts as an opponent to Redi and Canius.
Mazar has starred in “Ladies in Black,” “Younger,” “Space Truckers,” “Batman Forever,” “The Tuxedo” and many more.
Susie Eddie Izzard as Lachie/Lachesis
Susie Eddie Izzard plays Lachy/Lachesis, one of the Three Fates, who reveals the prophecies that are only given to each human at birth. The Nenhum Two Destinies must answer to Zeus, and the trio have already seen their kingdom taken away for some time.
Izzard, a comedian and actor, has starred in countless films and television series, including “Dress to Kill,” “Doctor Jekyll,” “Cars 2,” “Stay Close” and many more.
